DESCRIPTION:The HIC is excited to announce an upcoming company presentation with Cevian Capital\, Europe's largest activist hedge fund\, followed by an exclusive dinner and networking opportunity for a number of selected participants!\n\n\nAbout Cevian Capital\n\n\nCevian Capital is one of Europe’s largest and most experienced activist fund managers. Cevian acquires significant minority ownership positions in undervalued European blue chip companies and works on enhancing their long-term competitiveness\, profitability and sustainability. Cevian manages a concentrated portfolio of 10-15 companies at a time\, with an average holding period of c. 5 years and typically makes 1-3 new investments per year after conducting extensive fundamental research – current portfolio companies include ABB\, CRH\, Rexel\, Pearson and Nordea. With a team of c. 30 investment professionals in Pfäffikon SZ and Stockholm\, Cevian manages more than EUR 12 bn AUM for pension funds\, endowments\, foundations\, sovereign wealth funds\, and other investors.
