DESCRIPTION:The Helvetian Investment Club (HIC) is excited to welcome Dr. Alexander Dibelius\, Managing Partner & Head of DACHI at CVC Capital Partners on the 28th of November 2024 at the University of St.Gallen.\n\n \n\nAbout Alexander Dibelius:\n\nDr. Alexander Dibelius is the Managing Partner and Head of DACHI at CVC Capital Partners. In this role\, Dr. Dibelius leads CVC's private equity activities in Germany\, overseeing strategy\, operations\, and client relations from the firm's Frankfurt office. With a distinguished career in investment banking\, he previously served as one of two global Co-Chairmen of Goldman Sachs' investment banking division\, leading its German operations for 13 years\, including a decade as sole CEO.\n\nDr. Dibelius holds a Ph.D. in Medicine and began his career as a surgeon\, practicing at institutions such as Baragwanath Hospital in Johannesburg\, Groote Schuur Hospital in Cape Town\, and Universitätsklinikum Freiburg.\n\nAbout CVC Capital Partners:\n\nCVC is a leading global private markets manager focused on private equity\, secondaries\, credit and infrastructure with a global network of 30 local offices and €193 billion of assets under management.
